Critical incidents are situation that occur outside of our normal frame of reference and challenge us to understand and cope with what has happened. CIGD is a short-term group or individual intervention process that focuses on an immediate event. CIGD is one of several methods that may be utilized to lesson the likelihood of people experiencing symptoms of Trauma and Stress after a critical incident.
EMDR focuses on the brain's ability to constantly learn, taking past negative experiences, and updating them with present information ( positive beliefs).
AIP or Adaptive information processing is constantly updating memory network systems. EMDR breaks though that negative belief and helps let go of the past and update your experiences to a healthier present perspective.
CBT refers to a range of therapies with a common focus helping sort out cycles of unhelpful thoughts, emotions, physical experiences and actions. Traditionally the focus is assisting changing the negative thought. Structured therapy using questionnaires to measure progress and action plans between sessions. Useful in Anxiety, Trauma, ADHD, CD, Depression and more.
Narrative Therapy is a goal directed framework explores numerous stories that shape and influence identity problems, and preferred direction in life. Useful in Addictions, trauma, and mental health concerns

Person -Centered Approach to help engage in healthy habits, life style issues, weight gain, lack of exercise, school issues.
- You have come to treatment/therapy expressing concerns. Your therapist will help you understand the presenting concerns and how to adaptively manage them.
- An overall treatment plan will be developed that will accomplish your goals.
Within that treatment plan, therapy approaches will be applied to accomplish your treatment goals.
